I love to experience music live, so one of my big moments this year was going to Glyndebourne in May. I went to hear Katya Kabanova by Janácek, probably one of my favourite composers. It was so emotional, the experience of being there in the theatre. Both my parents are repetiteurs in Moscow opera theatres. So we always had singers at home and opera’s something I’ve always loved listening to.
