Not too restrictive maybe, I’m still happy to have got my V-Strom 1050’s 600-mile running-in period out of the way. The big V-Twin motor doesn’t need high revs to deliver usable performance, its mid-range being sufficiently strong enough for most speed gains. Even so, it’s good not worrying about spinning it up
