PUT STOCK IN THEIR SOCK

What has long been debated is now reality.

Major League Baseball implemented the DH in the National League for the 2020 season, ending a 46-year run of the two leagues playing by different rules. The DH was instituted in the NL this year as part of the health and safety protocols governing MLB’s operating procedures during the coronavirus pandemic.

While the arrangement is officially for this season only, there is a sense the DH will remain in the NL beyond this
