Curried beef pot pies

SERVES 4 PREP AND COOK TIME 9 HOURS

1kg beef chuck steak
¼ cup (35g) plain flour
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 large (200g) onion, chopped coarsely
2 cloves garlic, chopped
400g can diced tomatoes
½ cup (125ml) beef stock
400g can chickpeas, drained, rinsed
120g baby spinach leaves
¼ cup (80g) mango chutney
4 sheets puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten lightly
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
½ teaspoon sea salt flakes

Trim beef and cut into 4cm pieces; place in a large bowl.
