The world of 2020 is a very different place from what came before. And no, we’re not talking about the invisible menace that’s kept us all confined to our quarters.

It’s the world of car modifying that we’re referring to. After all, there’s never been such close scrutiny on the cars we’re building: we largely have social media to thank – or not, as the case may be. We live in an era when pictures of project cars are spread far and wide. They get obsessively pored over, analysed, harshly judged, liberally commented upon. This culture of relentless inspection means the quality of builds is higher than ever. It’s not enough to quickly throw a car together for a particular show or event; today’s modified cars are built to last.
