Waking up on a hospital ward, I let out a groan.
‘The tummy tuck was a success,’ a doctor said cheerfully, passing me a plastic cup filled with water.
Numb from the anaesthetic, it took a minute for me to remember where I was.
Then, looking down, it came flooding back.
My stomach was all bandaged up.
And it was looking unusually flat!
So, despite being under the haze of painkillers, I was ecstatic.
One step closer to my dream body, I thought.
