Captain Harry Hudson Coaches Chris Green (DoR), Chris Waring (head-forwards), Danny Cleare (backs-attack), James Kellard (defence) Three consecutive promotions have brought a remarkable aggregate of 68 wins in 70 games, 66 bonus points and a points ratio of 3,341 to 723. It takes Rochford into the unknown territory of National Two South. Green said: “We had forward dominance, an outstanding defence and pace in the outside channels. We needed to be on the top of our game every week against clubs such as Guernsey and Wimbledon.”

Around 100 Rochford supporters travelled to watch a vital 19-13 win at Guernsey. Top try-scorers were back-row/centre Hudson (14), hooker Adam Ferrier (11) and No 8 Mac Duaibe (nine). Fly-half Cameron Greenhall notched 117 points.

NORTH WALSHAM

Captain Matt Hodgson Coaches Johnny Marsters (head of rugby), James Knight (assistant), Ryan Oakes (assistant-video analyst), Danny Cubitt (S&C), Rob Beaumont (skills) This first league title in seven seasons lifts North Walsham to Level Five, a reminder of their golden 19 years from 1990-91 onwards as a National League club. Their game was built on strong defence, patience, speedy ball-handlers and adaptability.

Their historic first victory at Colchester rewarded many years of rebuilding. Three-quarters of the squad are from Norfolk and half are mini-youth products. They won the title with four games in hand. Top scorers were fly-half Hodgson (227 points), wing Jim Riley (23 tries) and wing/centre Dan Smith (18).

HAVANT

Joel Knight Will Knight (head), Lewis Osborne (assistant), Ivan Torpey (attack), Andrea Pozzi (forwards) Havant were two points clear with three of their remaining four games at home when they were declared champions.
