Note: Refer to the Fabric Key for the specific fabrics Tone used for her quilt. Instructions are provided for freezer-paper appliqué stitched by hand, but they can be readily adapted to suit another method if you prefer. Note, however, that the appliqué shapes do not include seam allowances — you need to add them when cutting the fabric. Seam allowances of 1/4in are used throughout for the piecing.
