It is a truth universally acknowledged, as Jane Austen almost said, that anything introduced by Apple as a budget option must include a compromise. The iPhone 11 doesn’t. It’s the Jane Fairfax of iPhones, no less perfect for being ‘cheap’ (okay, not as expensive as the Pro models!). Both the front depth-sensing camera (with slow-mo ‘slofies’) and the dual rear lenses are excellent, as is the 6.1-inch IPS display. It comes in a choice of black, white and four other colours.
