Kindle Oasis 3 Beginners User Guide - Clayton M. Rines

INTRODUCTION
I have owned a lot of e-readers, and I must say the Kindle Oasis is a device that I have fallen in love with. This is a gadget for people with class and a taste for the finer things of life. If you love reading your books, magazines, and other materials with the best ambient light with other subtle features that are packed into a piece of technological marvel, then this is the Kindle for you.
This new Kindle device is a significant upgrade on the Oasis lineup and other e-readers in the Amazon portfolio. There are tremendous additions to the display, LED lights encasing the screen, giving the Oasis a relaxed and comfortable reading experience. This backlight that has been integrated into the Oasis can easily go unnoticed unless if you are an individual who is very particular about details. With the discovery that blue light emitted from the screen of our devices causes irregular sleep patterns and may lead to the development of other disorders, this device has taken the bull by the horns to tackle this problem adequately. The user can adjust the lightning of the device and if you are comfortable with a warmer color of orange in the evening or it can be set with timers such that at certain hours of the day, the brightness of the screen adjusts to take the strain off your eyes.
The Oasis 3 comes in two major colors; Champagne Gold and Graphite. The color you get is dependent on in which part of the world you reside in. There are also two major storage variants; the 32GB and 8GB variants. It comes in a premium aluminum casing with a weight of 188g. The magnets that were present in the 2nd generation Oasis are no longer present in this model. The magnets served to hold on the cover firmly to the back of the device.
The case of the Oasis now fully covers the back of the reader as against the previous model in which the cases only covers the back halfway.
The Oasis comes with a 7-inch screen with a 300 pixel per inch density in a monochrome display. It is fully waterproof with thick sturdier areas on the device that gives you a good grip. On the front of the device are two physical buttons that are used to turn pages of the books you read. The introduction of these buttons is another step in the right direction as they have moved away from the awkwardness of actually having to move your fingers back and forth across the screen to flip the pages. In the Oasis 3, with your finger on any of the buttons, you apply a little pressure or tap to move onto the next exciting page of your novel. A few folks might be more comfortable with swiping and sliding their fingers all over the screen of the reader, but I must tell you that I am more comfortable with this new addition that saves me a lot of finger mileage.
With the larger screen, you should expect the Kindle to be a bit heavier. With the additional screen real estate, you have more inked materials on the screen at any given time. The battery is slightly more powerful than that found on the Oasis 2; it has a 1130 mAh battery.
Design
This gadget is a welcome deviation from the typical e-reader design format that we have become used to overtime. The mini-tablet design associated with e-readers has a uniform width all around the device. The Oasis 3, however, on the other hand, has a more enlarged portion on one half of the device when compared to the other. This is a design that gives an excellent grip to hold on firmly to the reader. The main body of the reader comes in at 3.4mm, while the thicker part has a measurement of 8.4mm.
The Oasis 2019 Edition comes with a 7 inch E Ink Carta HD screen sporting a resolution of 1680*1264 and 300 pixels per square inch. Have you ever heard of a color temperature screen device? The color temperature is an arrangement of white and orange colored LED lights at the topmost or bottom of the screen to give an even display of light on the screen. The white LED lights on the screen are diffused, giving it a warmer appearance. There are settings that you can make use of in controlling the brightness levels of the LED lights, or automatic settings can be employed to help you out. There is the option of using your time zone to set up the brightness of the screen. The reader has 13 amber LED lights and 12 white LED lights.
