LVV Certifiers if they’re unclear on something. So the best advice I could give to you on this one is to let us know at LVVTA when this is happening. If a member of the public contacts us because they think they’re getting the wrong outcome, the technical staff at LVVTA - who know the system intimately - will always intervene to help the customer and the LVV Certifier. We’ll often learn something from this process which results in a clarification going out to all LVV Certifiers, or sometimes even a change to the requirement itself to make it clearer at the next amendment opportunity. But – and here’s the important bit – we can’t fix this stuff if we’re not told. So, to you, and others – please do contact the LVVTA technical staff for help if you’re ever in this situation.
