    I am in the process of adding air conditioning, with heater and defrost, to a 1940 Hudson. I have contacted the major air conditioning kit suppliers (Vintage Air, Southern Rods and Old Air Products). None of them have a kit that has a compressor with a wide belt (i.e. 5/8”) like Hudson and early Fords used. I have also checked Midwest Early Ford, but they only have restoration products.
