CRAWFORD JUNCTION HUT

It’s not the most spectacular of settings, but definitely has its own charm and ambience, and in my estimation is highly underrated as a destination. The hut itself is a bit of an anomaly in terms of design, built in the early 1980’s during a brief tenure of the valley by the Department of Lands and Survey.

There was an older hut on the site, probably built by the Department of Internal Affairs
