HOT CROSS BUNS

Ingredients

8 cups flour
2 cups warm milk
½ cup butter
4 T sugar
1 pkt instant yeast
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
3 T mixed spice
3 T cinnamon
1 cup sultanas
¾ cup flour
1 T sugar
¼ cup water
¼ cup warm jam

Method

1. In a bowl combine milk, butter, sugar and yeast. Allow to stand for 10 minutes until frothy. Add eggs and mix. Sift flour, salt and spices. Add sultanas, and mix until a sticky dough forms.
