CHILL OUT AND RELAX

First impression of Odette Benatar is of a vivacious, energetic Gibraltarian businesswoman, but there is more to her than meets the eye. Odette, who is rather well known in these parts as one of the attractive James Bond girls starring with Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights, is also a total classic petrolhead. When she is not out driving her Triumph Stag, she is out in the other treasured classic – her 1978 VW Westfalia T2 Camper.

Odette says: 'I love the Camper. It makes a good stablemate for the family's other two classics, the Triumph Stag (a car which my father loaned to the authorities to transport Prince Charles and Lady Diana when they stopped at Gibraltar on their honeymoon) and the 1986 Cadillac Seville. Like so many people, I was attracted to the style of the VW Camper for years and I always dreamed of owning one, so when I saw this Westfalia T2 for sale five years ago, I simply jumped at it.
