If you like V8 power but are not wedded to curves on your car, how about a TR7V8? Thisconverted to Rover V8 power. There were some factory TR8s, but they are rare indeed in the UK and command a huge premium, whereas converted cars are generally far more affordable. You will, of course, need to ascertain that the conversion has been properly engineered and that the suspension and brakes have been uprated to match, so do invest in a professional inspection if you do not feel competent to do this on your own.
