that's life!

Welcome!

These are challenging times for us all and I want to start my letter by sending our love to all of you who are doing what you team are working from home. And yesterday, during our lunch break, we were all sharing photos of our new workmates – our pets. So it was a lovely coincidence to see in our What’s Hot item in this week’s The Buzz (Page 13) that research has shown that dog-friendly workplaces reduce stress, increase productivity and boost morale. Speaking for myself and the rest of the team who are lucky enough to have pets at home, Some days I can’t believe my luck that I work with the amazing team who put this magazine together every week. But none of them have ever laid their head in my lap when I’m a bit stressed and working on a deadline, or lovingly licked my ankles. Now if they do that, it would just be weird. Haha! But when ’s hard working Pet Editor, Dizzy, does either of those things, it’s so calming. I can’t help but smile and feel more relaxed. If Dizz could work his magic on you, too, he would! In the meantime, I hope you are able to stay connected with your loved ones, friends and neighbours. A simple phone call can be just as calming and appreciated. Until next week, stay safe.
