“Oh my, it’s so far,” remarked our dining companion, who had been warming our passenger seat for almost 40 minutes as we made our way from the city to Neo Tiew Lane. When we finally reached D’Kranji Farm Resort—Singapore’s version of a countryside retreat—it felt like we had been driving forever. But once you get past how out of the way it is, Ulu Ulu Pet Cafe (located on the resort’s grounds) has a fair bit going for it.
