BALBIR SINGH DHILLON
Head, Audi India
There has been a change at the helm of Audi India. Dhillon will take over from Rahil Ansari with effect from 1 September 2019 as the latter is moving to a global role at Audi AG.
Earlier, Dhillon was the head of dealer development. He brings to the table 23 years of experience in the automotive field. His first stint with the German giant was from 2007 to 2012. During that time, he worked as the head of sales field force and gained experience in areas such as sales, network profitability, business strategy, and field sales. He has also served at Audi Middle East, Porsche India, and Honda India.
Audi’s additions to the line-up in the past year include the new Q5 and Lifestyle Editions of some of their popular models. We may expect to see the new Q3, Q7, Q8, A6, A8, and e-tron in the forthcoming months. Audi are also gearing up to improve their network in India by setting up service centres in tier-II and III cities.
RUDRATEJ SINGH
President and CEO, BMW Group India
Rudratej Singh began working for BMW India earlier this month. He has held leadership positions in various companies and brings 25 years of experience with him. Prior to this, he was the Global President at Royal Enfield.
Rudratej graduated from the Delhi University. He also has an MBA in marketing and finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
BMW’s recent launches include the new X5, first-ever X7, and the nww 7 Series. They also launched the hot M2 Competition and the Z4 roadster as well. Furthermore, BMW India said that 2019 would witness the largest number of launches in their history, including the all-new 3 Series. So, there is a lot to look forward to.
