BREATHE EASY
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
• Don’t hold your breath. Although you might not be able to take deep breaths, your breath should still be smooth and soft.
• Avoid rapid movements like jerking or jolting your body. Move slowly through the exercises, and be mindful of how you place your body.
PRACTISING YOGA DURING
pregnancy not only aids with digestion and blood circulation but also makes it easier for you to breathe. As your baby grows and takes up more space inside you, there’s less room for you to take deep breaths. When practising yoga, become mindful of your inhales and exhales. The more you focus on your breath, the easier it will become to take deeper breaths.
You’ll also enjoy a state of mental peace and physical well-being.
