WHAT IS, arguably, the most famous rock and roll music festival of all time has an anniversary this August—its 50th. A commemorative event in August is planned by original producer Michael Lang (see woodstock.com). Collectors are starting to seek out Woodstock memorabilia (I have a complete collection, to be handled by Heritage Auctions as I write this.). And documentary filmmaker Ken Burns is at work on a Woodstock retrospective for PBS.
