Lighten the load and reap the rewards

A cool autumn morning greeted me as I headed out to spend the day wandering in the bush. I fitted five reduced loads in the internal magazine of the Sako and had 15 in my backpack. I also had 10 full power loads. The reduced loads were intended for small game and used 110-grain Sierra Pro-Hunters which exited the muzzle at around 1780fps so as not to waste too much meat. The full power loads were using the same projectile at 2820fps out of the 22" barrel and these were for any pigs, goats or small deer I might come across. My rifle was chambered in 6.8 SPC and has the Spec II chamber.
