Savage Ashbury Precision Rifle
The rifle comes with Savage’s adjustable AccuTrigger system
THE SAVAGE ASHBURY Precision Rifle is th result of a joint venture by Savage A who provided a Model 10 barrelled action, and Ashbury Precision Ordnanc PO) who provided their Saber MR AR3 modular rifle chassis.
The rifle tested is a 6.5mm Creedmoor with a barrel twist of 1:8. The overall length is 118cm with the stock at its most extended setting. It weighs 4.68kg with an empty magazine. The 24-inch match barrel is carbon steel, fluted and free-floating. Ashbury rifles are also available in .308 Win, with a 24-inch barrel (1:10 twist). Savage uses the button rifling method of barrel making which results in very consistent groove dimensions providing superb accuracy.
