WHAT WOOD BRAAIS BEST?

Towards the end of 2018 we put some of the most popular bags of briquettes and charcoal to the test. The clincher? How each fared braaiing a steak. But there are wood enthusiasts who’d never go near a bag of the black stuff and so we got our Facebook followers to motivate for their favourite wood for a new test. We chose the nine most popular varieties, based on likes and comments, and here’s what happened.

How we performed the test

Our predecessor title performed a similar test, so we used that format as a basis for our own.
