All hail the Amarok

When Volkswagen introduced its 3 ℓ V6 bakkie three years ago, the carmaker had already made a name for itself in the double cab segment with its 2 ℓ bakkies. At the time, the 3 ℓ V6 diesel engine was one of the most powerful in South Africa and produced a whopping 550 Nm.

Back then there were three V6 models to choose from. Now there is a fourth, which is the equivalent of the 2 ℓ series’ Dark Label: the Canyon.
