Trust us – these mouth-watering goods take decadence to a whole new level and should feature on everyone’s bucket list. Yes, said bucket list will probably be cut short in the process, but it’ll be totes worth it!

Chilli Chocolate Ice-Cream Torte

PREP + COOK TIME: 1¾ HOURS (+ REFRIGERATION & FREEZING) SERVES 12 YOU need to start this recipe the day before serving.

INGREDIENTS

TORTE

* 4 egg whites
* 1 cup (220g) caster sugar
* 200g dark chocolate (70 percent cocoa), grated coarsely
* 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
* 300ml thickened cream
* 200g dark chocolate (70 percent cocoa), extra, grated coarsely

CHILLI CHOCOLATE ICE-CREAM

* 2 cups (500ml) milk* 7 egg yolks* 1 cup (220g) caster* 300g dark chocolate (70 percent cocoa), grated coarsely* 1 teaspoon chilli powder* 2 cups (500ml) thickened cream
