Taking the long view

I much enjoyed reading the article on Buster de Guingand (YW, July 2019). My father-in-law, Alan Baker, bought Thalassa in 1936 and Buster was a regular member of his crew. She was raced hard, but not too seriously, as a good dinner was definitely essential.
