Destination Stanford Hall

A few months ago, good friends Ann and Mick Johnstone (owners of an orange Oettinger Cabriolet and rare Moortown Split) called to invite me to join them and their club, the Volkswagen Cabriolet Owners Club GB, on their stand at Stanford Hall. The aim was to get 40 Cabriolets together to celebrate and acknowledge three things: 1) 40 years of the club, 2) 40 years since the end of Karmann Beetle production and 3) 70 years since the first convertible Beetle was built.
