SUPERYACHT CAPTAINS’ FORUM AT VIAREGGIO’S YARE

This edition of the YARE (Yachting After Sales & Refit Experience) recently held in Viareggio’s Principino Congress Centre has been a lot more inclusive than the numbers making up the superyacht fleet in the world today, with captains’ viewpoints concerning yacht management, B2B meetings between captains and companies, theme workshops addressing insurance policies, management, etc. This latest edition of the YARE is the ninth dedicated to the yachting industry, which hosted 350 guests in its premises at the end of March last.

YARE’S president Vincenzo Poerio took the floor first offering several interesting factors and insight on what’s happening in the superyacht sector: “Contracts for new builds have been already finalized up to 2022 as yachts are becoming increasingly longer”. Poerio then confirmed as follows: “This international scenario sees Italian shipyards take the leading role”.
