THE CROW’S NEST

WHITTLEY SLIDES INTO SYDNEY

Whittley Marine Group have expanded their retail presence with the opening of a new retail sales and service dealership in the Sydney Boathouse mega facility at Rozelle. The new space is a welcome addition to their existing network of showrooms in Melbourne, Perth and on the Gold Coast. The company are reporting exceedingly positive sales figures for the branch in the short time since the doors opened.

New Sydney sales manager, Brock Cohen, shared his excitement, saying, “The time was right to open an outlet in Sydney. Boat sales have been steady since June and the outlook for spring and summer is very positive. With COVID issues restricting movement on shore, many people are looking to get out and enjoy some freedom on the water.”

Cohen went on to elaborate as to which of the brand’s models he believes will prove most popular in the Sydney Market. “The new CR 2380 and CR 2600 outboard models have sold well in Queensland and we expect to repeat that success in Sydney. The Sea Legend range will also be popular with the fishos, especially the SL 25.”

The new dealership will offer the complete range of family day-cruisers, offshore fishers and tailor-made packages. Currently, they’re forecasting a three-month turnaround from order to delivery. Available packages range from $39,990 to $250,000, and include parts and accessories from Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Mackay trailers, Garmin and Fusion electronics.

Not only will the new location provide convenient access for NSW residents to explore the range of Yamaha and Volvo Penta powered fibreglass vessels, it also provides existing owners with a wider network of after-sales service locations. This includes warranty
