Return To The Riverina

THE previous October we had managed to put 14 pigs on the ground, which had got the pig hunting bug well and truly biting. We had to plan another trip.

Early January came around and we were off to the Riverina region of New South Wales. A one night stopover at my Grandpa’s farm near Deniliquin on the way north was the original plan, but the first night’s duck shooting on the rice was so good, we decided to stay an extra night to try and cull a few more ducks. To our surprise, after the first night when we got 16, the next night hardly a shot was fired. How could it be so different? Oh well,
