Clean up after Google
Like many others, I am unnerved by the amount of data that Google appears to hold on its users. How do I reclaim some kind of control over this? I don’t want Google holding on to my data forever.

That’s not necessarily practical, but thankfully you can control just how much data – and for how long – Google can hold about your online habits.
