Bloody Mary prawn cocktail dippers
If you can’t find large tail-on prawns, ones with the tails removed or those that are slightly smaller will work, too.
Makes 16 dippers and shots • Ready in 20 minutes, plus chilling
500ml good-quality
tomato juice, chilled
150ml vodka
zest and juice of 1 washed lemon
2 to 3tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ to 1tsp Tabasco
pinch of smoked paprika
1tsp horseradish sauce
1 celery stick
16 large tail-on prawns, cooked
pinch of ground black pepper
pinch of celery salt
1 Combine the tomato juice, vodka, and lemon zest and juice in a large jug with the Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, smoked paprika and horseradish sauce. Season and stir well. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
Chop the celery stick into large chunks. Skewer each prawn lengthways through
