✢ THE IDEA I ran a real estate company for years, but eventually sold it and used the proceeds to tide me over for a while. In November 2017, I decided that it was time to sink my teeth into something new. I’d started wearing shapewear in my mid-thirties to level out my figure and boost my overall body confidence. But the dull colours – all beige, navy, black and white – felt less than flattering. To me, there’s nothing more unappealing as a beige spandex strip sticking out from underneath a beautiful dress.
