Engagement party

Depending on your preferences and how your engagement went down (think: a surprise dinner with your besties), you and your partner may decide to have an official party celebrating your new status as to-be-weds. According to The Knot 2017 Real Weddings study, about 28 percent of couples have an engagement party. Hosted by your parents, a close relative, your sibs or even the two of you, an engagement party is meant to act as a casual get-together where friends and family can pass along their congrats and toast you with
