The family man

The wind is blowing from the east and the Martin family dog Jed (a golden border collie) is rounding up the family like sheep for an afternoon beach walk. Ray throws his giggling grandson, Arlo, high in the air then pops him on a shoulder and heads north across yellow Sydney sand. Ray’s wife, Dianne, daughter, Jenna, and son, Luke, are soon herded into place as well. Jed, satisfied with his work, trots along beside them. The Martins are close – they always have been – and two-year-old Arlo has brought them closer.
