From the notebook of a sportswriter who should be more upset about Riveron’s Ridiculous Reversal that scalded the Steelers against Seattle, but who expected such debacles ever since the NFL foolishly legislated reviews of pass interference:

• Blatant? I think not.

• Egregious? Al Riveron thinks not. "I didn't say it was egregious," Riveron said in response to pool reporter Mark Kaboly’s query. "I said it was clear and obvious that he was significantly hindered."

• Open the box and let Pandora out. Utter nonsense.

• Bigger problems, though, than the integrity of modern football.
