One fine day the modern Homo Elegans found a tailored suit hanging in his wardrobe amongst the tracksuits, jumpers, technical jackets and all the other clothes more suited to leisure, holiday or weekend wear than the office and everyday life. The suit hung quietly on its hanger and when the man pulled it out to look at it he twist, i.e. with reworked volumes and proportions, all-new details and colours made, in some cases, from sustainable dyes. Tight-fitting, as though designed for the female body, or fluid like pyjamas, decorated with classic stripes or checks, or in bright velvet or silky floral motifs. The main thing is that it is desirable again and it makes our man look at it as though he were seeing it for the first time. In such hybrid territory, are paving the way, in which new combinations and opposites attract and catch the eye with their contrasts. An alternation of classic and experimental tailoring features the addition of technical or unexpected details, such as knit edges or interior designs. Or deconstruction, which breaks down the structure, or layering, which subverts the order of garments. And just love subversive dressing. Mixing up genres and colours, cartoon and grotesque patterns, as though they had gone back to their childhood or had never grown up in the first place.
