DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE ARCHITECT

The mere notion of hiring an architect to help deliver a reno is enough to bring many of us out in hives. We’ve all seen what happens in /every self-build show on telly. They’ll add a trillion pounds to the budget (or ignore it completely), design something totally bonkers, and then strop off when it all goes wrong. Even if the word architect doesn’t make you shudder, hiring one can feel like an unnecessary expense. Far cheaper to bosh out some drawings on Sketch Up and get Dave down the road to help
