DURING THE SUMMER, I SUBSTITUTE-TEACH at my boys’ old preschool. This summer, I had the opportunity to work in the two-yearolds’ class. From the time they were dropped off Whatever it was, they were ready with full-body joy. The only thing they could have done without was nap time. (I would have gladly taken their place.)
