Q: I’ve been eating low carb for 12 weeks and I’m 8kg lighter, no longer hypertensive and feeling a lot more energetic. But I checked my blood glucose level and was sure it would have improved. It hasn’t. My fasting blood glucose (FBG) is higher than before I started low carb, and I’m not eating sugar! What’s going on?
