Expedition CAPE HORN Sea Kayaking Through The Furious Fifties
It is 10 AM on the 7th of December 2017. Our kayaks glide along the waters down the Puerto Williams Bay, and a light flow pushes us towards the Beagle Channel.The weather is warm; it is pleasant to be on the water at last. For the first time in the past 18 months, Cape Horn seems to be reachable. Under the morning sun, with the flow at our backs, sitting in our boats, everything seems possible.We look great, with our brand new boats, drysuits, and matching safety jackets. Only our mismatched paddles hint at the difficulty we had in getting here.
