The call from Redfish Chuck came in around February. “Hey James, any chance you’d be interested in bringing the Jackson Kayak Media House film crew to Old Bahama Bay Resort, our luxury marina resort in the West End Bahamas, to fish a bit?”

I quickly did what every professional would in my position: I Googled “West End Bahamas fishing,” clicked on “images,” then on videos, and then preceded to expedia.com to check on flight costs.

“Yes please.”

I know you’re asking, what did I see in those 11 seconds on Google that immediately had me telling the wife and kids about another “work” trip kayak fishing? Well, put yourself in my shoes. Chuck called in February. I work near Ottawa, Canada. This place looked AWESOME!
