#1 A breath of fresh air

In 2018, two years after moving into their Parkhurst home, llse and Jayson Robbertse relocated the kitchen, which was ‘squeezed’ into the middle of the home, so it would be closer to the entertainment area at the back. “We love our backyard; it’s surrounded by so many large trees that it feels like a forest,” says Ilse. “We cook and entertain a lot, so it made sense to have the kitchen close to this space.”
