LOVE BITES

Last year saw Mich Turner – aka the queen of couture cakes – celebrate the 20th anniversary of her Little Venice Cake Company. In that time she has attracted a wealth of famous clients, including the Queen, Sir Paul McCartney – even Mary Berry.

Mich’s latest cookbook – Everyday Bakes to Showstopper Cakes – is published next month, and later this year she will be adding something new to the mix when she opens her first cake atelier outside the UK, in Dubai. This year will see another milestone, too, when Mich turns 50.

“Turning 50 is a rite of passage,” she says. “This milestone birthday is one for me to acknowledge the achievements to date and the areas to focus on for the future.”
