If you’re after a quick and effective core workout, following this short circuit of exercises is an ideal go-to. It’s instructed by Steve Tansey, head of UK research and development at Les Mills. Use it as a stand-alone core workout, or as a supplement to other training.

1 CRUNCH

Reps: 8-10

Why we love it: This is a great exercise for strengthening and toning your upper and lower abdominals.

• Lie on your back, bend your knees to bring your feet close to your butt and place your fingertips at your temples with your elbows wide.
