THE CURSE OF THE GREY NOMADS

EVERY winter, Queensland is invaded by Grey Nomads. They travel from NSW and Victoria predominantly and they all tow caravans and/or boats. The purpose is to escape the colder winters and enjoy the Queensland sunshine and wear shorts and t-shirts in June through September. The arrival of Grey Nomads is welcomed by every seaside town and community because they spend money on powered sites, food, fuel and tourism. It’s a win, win situation for the Grey Nomads and Queensland tourism.
