    SOLAR HOT WATER REBATE IN VICTORIA

    Victorian households have been able to claim up to $1,000 rebate on solar hot water systems since late February, as part of the State Government’s Solar Homes package.

    The government claims the rebate could save households between $160 and $400 a year. The new offer, which can also be applied retrospectively to systems installed on or after 19 August 2018, is open to up to 60,000 owner occupiers. To be eligible, households must have a maximum combined income of no more than $180,000 and a house valued at no more than $3 million. Households that have
