Once again, the geniuses at the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) in Washington D.C. are playing around with the country’s international shortwave voices. The USAGM’s Greenville, North Carolina site’s transmitters, used mostly for Radio Marti, are to be replaced as the current units are nearly worn out. The new units are said to be more efficient and less expensive to operate.
