Prasar Bharati (P.B.) is India’s largest public broadcasting agency, a statutory autonomous body set up by an Act of Parliament, comprising the Doordarshan Television Network and All India Radio, which were early media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (so reports Google –GLD).
